EMS System

EMS is a cloud-hosted university-wide scheduling solution being offered by ITS and the Registrar's Office.  While the Registrar has been using EMS to schedule and maintain university courses, ITS is offering EMS to university departments as a centralized system for maintaining bookings and services information for departmental events.

All users with an active NetID and UConn Email can access the EMS Web Application.  From there they may view the schedules of certain spaces, or use one of their available templates to create a reservation or request.  More information is available on the Knowledge Base.

The Desktop Application is available to select users and offers a more robust feature set for users who need more granular control over their events.  Access to the desktop client is offered primarily to departments as a means of managing their controlled spaces.

Please note that EMS is intended to be a more robust system for greater event scheduling. For a more simplified conference room scheduler for meetings, please see Microsoft 365.

We are currently in the process of onboarding departments into EMS.  These requests are handled in the order in which they were received.
